Election Bounce-Back For Global Warming

You knew this was coming, right?

Now that the election is over, everyone’s happy to acknowledge that the global change in temperatures has something to to with the global change in weather patterns.

Funny that, right? Here – I’ve got poll results from faithful readers of the LinkedIn Personal Trainer!

Just a little bit of maybe

Yup – nobody’s willing to say that the global change in temperature (sometimes called global warming…) isn’t responsible for the wild weather patterns we’ve been seeing…

But we’re not responsible!

I made sure to leave that option in the simple yes/no poll.

Mostly because what’s the fun of having a simple yes/no poll? There’s always more involved. So in addition to the Yes! and No!, we had a “maybe”, a “yes but we’re not responsible”, and a definitive “it’s just bad luck” option.

“Yes but we’re not responsible” picked up a little attention;-)

Charts and such

It’s true – I got through the entire election season without one political poll.

Perhaps this one is a political statement of sorts…

Last month’s question – visitors were asked to respond to this:

Does the change in global temperatures have anything to do with weather patterns over the last couple years?

My good friend Sandy

Sure, we’re always getting hurricanes. But as a longtime resident of Western New York, I’m quite aware of the change – temperatures and weather patterns are not what they used to be.

Sandy put an exclamation point on it.

Next up – Happy Holidays!

I’m an unabashed happy holiday greeter.

Why? Because it’s the season for it.

I don’t know you, but if we happen to meet, I do sincerely wish that you have a happy time over this holiday season.

Does it matter if you happen to partake in any observed rituals? No! Partake or not, I’d like for you to be happy.

I am curious if you have any special lighting up and about. Your local electric company is probably happy for the extra sales, but beyond that, it does seem to make the surroundings a little bit more friendly.

So please – let us know how extensive your holiday lights are;-)

Find it just over to the right and up.

To your continued success,
steve
