Leveraging LinkedIn for Effective Projects

I’m really excited about creating this program – The Project Solvers and I have developed a workshop on Thursday July 16th for project teams and managers.

Besides the usual questions about how to use LinkedIn, we’ll show participants a tools set that will allow you to run projects effectively through LinkedIn and a few of the additional applications tied into the service.

How can project members communicate across the team?

Is there a way to share project plans and documents?

Can we get feedback from the development community, or the marketplace?

If our project team is scattered across several companies, cities, and continents, how can we setup an environment that lets us all do what we have to do?

All those questions – and more – will be answering for the workshop participants!

It’s a workshop

When we started mapping out the event, we quickly decided that it’s got to be hands on – those that come will bring their laptops and can do everything while we’re showing them how.  (No better way to drive a point home than to have the student do it themselves;-)

Useful for all team members

The focus of the event is on enhancing team results through LinkedIn.

So yes, if you don’t have a team, this may not be the right place for you;-)

Especially Project Managers

Now – if you happen to be a project manager, this is especially intended for you.  You’ll be able to organize your project around LinkedIn.

If you’re PMI certified, this event will earn you 3 PDUs – so you’ll be learning LinkedIn, picking up a great toolset for your project, and getting credit for it!

Launched in Rochester, NY

So – if you happen to be in Western New York, this workshop has the right stuff – right near you.

If you’re not, there’s a few things that you can do…  You can miss out…  or you can travel here for the day – and we’ll give you special recognition for doing that!-)  Or you could contact myself or The Project Solvers to ask us to bring this event to a location closer to you.

A different event for you

If you’re reading this and another use for LinkedIn comes to mind – let me know – I’m always looking for new ways to bring LinkedIn to the professional community.

To your continued success,
steve
