Falling Into A Social Media Hole

So here it is – a good week after I intended to post on the LinkedIn Personal Trainer Blog – and I can’t really explain what happened.

It’s always interesting when life intrudes on good intentions, but there’s got to be a lesson here somewhere…

Living Life

This has to be the first – no matter who you are, or what you do, life takes precedence.

And I’ve used a general euphemism in the form of “life”, but that helps cover things like a special project, family, or even perhaps an illness.

For me it was a combination of the first two – a day and a half to help my father open the family cottage, and two different activities that took more than their normal share of my time.

And that was enough to put me behind.

Getting back up

And perhaps at times like these this is the more important lesson – just because you failed to keep up with something doesn’t mean you get to hang it up – you pick yourself up, pat off the dust, and get back to it.

And that’s what I’m doing here – digging myself out of the hole I’ve dug.

Next up – guest post

I do have a very interesting post coming up – a reader picks himself up after losing his job and accepts a position within 3 weeks.  And that’s a story I’m happy to spotlight – so stay tuned.

To your continued success,

steve
