It looks like you’re with Martin above – and may be onto something…

If I compare the number of viewers of this page with the number of votes cast, the overwhelming winner is “Most people will not cast a vote!” (darned, I thought I covered that with one of those “no” entries…)

While it may change things, I’ll look into changing the poll while in progress – gasp!

If I let the statement stand, the number of people that check the Lies or Biased results might increase because the system appears to be flawed…

If I reveal that your vote is in fact registered and counting to the item you’ve selected, the paranoid selection will get some votes…

Ok – because PC savvy people will already know that in order to keep someone from voting twice, the system has to record your address – I can safely say that the same address that submitted the comment above has also registered a vote in the poll.

So – back to what you were doing people – there’s nothing to look at on the side of the road – just keep moving – everything is all right;-)

Since I like polls, in general; and, your’s seems pretty straight forward, I’ve just cast my vote.

I recommend move up “We’d Like To Know” box, to just under your “Links” box. Why? No offense to anyone intended; but, some folks will not scroll down. Perhaps a split test – xx amount of time where it is and xx amount of time moved up.

You know what is even more interesting? See how many of your unique visitors in a give time actually complete the poll since it will give you an indication on “location, location, location” of your other announcements on this page.

Move the poll to the upper right hand corner in one week and sit back with a cup of coffee and I bet you the pollsters will double!

In other words – move up your “Get the book” box and see what happens.

Interesting poll. However, the wording of “frequently take…” didn’t really apply to me so I had a difficult time choosing answer. I will take polls but only if they look short, if I have time, and the topic is of interest/relevance.

Unfortunately I didn’t really see a choice reflecting a combination.
