The Guardian is reporting that those within the financial industry are increasingly LinkedIn.
It seems anti-climactic to think that investment bankers are joining, updating their profiles, and connecting more right now than ever before - but I’m a bit more interested to look inside and see that LinkedIn can identify this activity.
Let’s see what they’re seeing;-)

When I’m speaking about LinkedIn, someone in the audience will invariably ask “If we can use free accounts, how does LinkedIn make any money?”
And I mention a couple things: pay-per-use features, the good / better / best strategy of account levels, and advertising.
TechCrunch has just put out a great article explaining why LinkedIn does well in advertising.

LinkedIn is taking a bit of heat lately for limiting group membership, and while it may appear heavy handed, I’ve got an opinion on why it is practical.
A viable strategy can work only if it remains viable if everyone follows it.
That goes for connection strategy as well as group membership…

Another reader asks through email: There are times I have new connections but they do not show on my home page along with the history. I find that strange…. maybe there is a reason?
